The use of inverter technology allows the construction of a Lightweight Portable Multi Process Inverter Machine which is ideal for small workshop applications.
DC Output
The XTI 601 MP has a DC output and is suitable for welding alloy, non alloy steels, stainless steel and titanium.
MIG Mode – Materials up to 4mm can be welded with ease. TIG Mode – Materials up to 4mm can be welded with ease.
MMA Mode – Electrodes up to 4mm can be used with ease.
MIG Welding
The smooth DC output ensures excellent arc characteristics. The arc voltage is infinitelty adjustable providing exact settings of the welding parameters. Reversible polarity allows the machine to be used with gasless flux cored wires.
MMA Welding
By simply changing the torch the XTI 601 MP can to be used for MMA welding. The smooth DC output gives excellent arc characteristics and arc force is adjustable on the front panel.
Lift TIG Welding
By fitting an optional TIG torch and coupling to a suitable gas supply the XTI 601 MP can be used for Tig welding and is suitable for welding steel and stainless steel using LIFT TIG. When used for TIG welding power downslope can be adjusted on the front panel. The latching trigger function improves operator comfort allowing the trigger to be released during long welds.
Generator Friendly
The XTI 601 MP is able to cope with inputs which fluctuate by +/-15% and can be used with the majority of generators.
The machine is housed in a steel case with an integrated carry handle and shoulder strap.
