Argon
Argon is an Inert gas, that is gas that does not react with anything. Argon has the chemical symbol Ar and the atomic number 18. The atmosphere contains 0.9 percent Argon, which makes the gas the third most abundant.
The most common use for Argon is within the welding industry. In the welding process, the shielding gas used is an Argon mix or pure Argon. Argon gas creates an atmosphere where metals will not oxidize during welding. Argon comes in cylinders/bottles as well as manifold cylinder pallets.
