It is specified within the BCGA CP7 document, Gas cutting and welding equipment should be maintained under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, and as detailed in the Health and Safety at work act 1974 equipment should be “Suitable for use” “maintained” and “Inspected".

Ensuring the safety of gas equipment in the workplace is a legal requirement. It's crucial for employers and those with a responsibility to understand and comply with these obligations. Welding Supplies Direct offers a convenient and cost-effective solution with our gas equipment inspections. Our CP7 (oxy-fuel), and the CP47 (single cylinder MIG/TIG) checks ensure that your company conforms to current regulations and is often a requisite from your insurance company.

It is of utmost importance for employers and individuals with responsibilities to fully comprehend and adhere to these obligations. At Welding Supplies your company's strict compliance with current regulations is often mandated by your insurance company. So, what does our comprehensive inspection encompass? Our qualified inspectors will make a visit to your premises. In approximately 35 minutes per set, they will conduct thorough examinations of your gas equipment. This encompasses visual and functional assessments of your regulators, flashback arrestors, hoses, and blowpipes, along with evaluations of your working area and storage facilities. Should any safety concerns arise, rest assured that our inspectors are equipped with a complete range of replacement parts to address them promptly.

Upon the completion of the inspection, you will receive a Report of Thorough Examination.
