The MWA Mac E6130 13% manganese buffer layer welding rod is used in hard facing applications as a build material before overlaying with a hard facing electrode. The weld deposit have excellent impact resistance and rapid work hardening properties. It is commonly use for weld reclamation on crushers, railway frogs & crossing along with reclamation of defective manganese steel castings. We recommend allowing the welds to cool between runs to prevent surface fissuring.
