MWA's Mac Trode E630 is a 307 grade welding electrode that is designed to resist heat and impact whilst retaining its properties and high temperatures. The weld deposit will work harden under impact. 307 welding rods are usually used for joining or overlaying mild, alloyed, spring and heat resisting steels and is ideal for drop repairs on drop forging dies. Its most common use is as a buffer layer prior to hard surfacing steel.
