X1w-1500 - A Truly Portable System
With 18 years in the laser industry, Maxphotonics has 100% developed and brought to market the lightest and smallest handheld laser welding machine currently available in the world. Thanks to the advanced air cooling system which adapts phase change heat conduction technology, it weighs only 39KG and the volume is <0.1m3.
There is also an integrated cable reel to store the feeder cable and make the machine more compact when stored or transported.

The package is CE certified and comprises Maxphotonics Fibre Laser 1500W power source, Handheld Laser Gun with 5mtr Fibre Optical Cable & Wire Feed Unit.

X1w-1500 includes pre-set welding programmes for all sheet metal materials and thicknesses up to 4MM. Custom programmes can be added via the touch screen display.
The welding method is a direct contact process with nozzles to suit various welding joints.
Commercial Process
Due to the safety requirements of this Class 4 laser product we are adopting the following sales and demonstration method:-
Samples of material can be sent to us together with details of the application and volume of welding. Each sample will be manually welded using the X1w-1500 within a dedicated laser-safe environment and returned to the customer for approval. If approved, a quotation will be sent to the end-user.
The purpose of the visit is two fold:-
1. To demonstrate the laser welding system to the customers satisfaction
2. Explain the specific safety requirements when using Class 4 Laser Equipment
